Course: Technical indicators

Lesson Insights

Summary of indicators

Long and short signals generated by technical indicators can indicate whether to buy or sell an asset. These signals are based on specific conditions and criteria, such as price and trend changes, momentum, volume, and volatility levels.

These signals, however, are not foolproof and must be combined with other analysis techniques to make a sound investment decision. It's important to keep in mind that past performance does not guarantee future results and technical indicators can be subject to misinterpretation or false signals. This lesson summarises the different long and short signals of the most important indicators.
