Information we collect about you

When you use our websites, we automatically collect information about your device, including your IP address, information about your visit (including how you got to our websites) and how you use our products and services. We may combine this information with other information you have provided to us (see the Policy section “Information you provide to us”) or which we have received from other sources.

Information you provide to us

You may provide us with information in several ways, including by filling in forms on our websites or by corresponding with us by phone and e-mail. This includes information you provide when you register with us, sign up to receive our newsletters, conduct a product search on our websites, purchase any product on our websites, enter any competition, promotion or survey or provide feedback on our products and services.

We may ask you for your personal information in order to provide suitable products and services to you as follows:

  • providing access to our learning contents, including our E-Learning modules;
  • sending e-mail alerts, customized learning contents and promotional information (in the case they are requested);
  • issuing a membership card for you;
  • improve our websites by monitoring how you use it; and
  • gather feedback in order to improve our products and services.

The personal information we may ask for depends on nature of products and services you utilize, and may include:

  • In the case you are not registered to our websites but you are interested in a free consultation with us to gain an understanding of our educational programs, you may opt to compile our contact form. In this case, we will ask for the following personal information from you: your name and your e-mail address and/or your phone number.
  • In the case you opt to register yourself on our websites and to create a free Huntraders account, we will ask for the following personal information from you: a nickname, your e-mail address and a password. You may also complete the registration and create a free Huntraders account using your existing Google or Facebook account, in which case we will store your name and e-mail address but we will also receive (without storing) from Google and Facebook you nickname and avatar, and your sex, information whether your Facebook profile is certified (yes/no) and the link to your Facebook profile, respectively.
  • In the case you opt to be a member of our e-learning system, you will first need to create a Huntraders Membership account. In addition to the personal information we ask for the creation of your Huntraders account (see above), in order to create a member profile for you, we will also ask for the following personal information from you: your name, your e-mail address, nickname, password and, optionally, your postal address and your phone number. In order to improve our websites, products and services and to monitor how you use them, we may also collect information about your IP address, details of your web browser and cookies, and we may ask for your interests as well as for your feedback on our products and services. Additionally, we may also collect other information we may need to deliver the products and perform the services you requested (e.g. we may need your credit card details to charge you for certain products/services requested).

We will not post any of your personal information in our chatrooms, however, if you post any personal information in our chatrooms, that becomes accessible to other users, and those other users may receive, collect and use the personal information you disclosed. You should exercise caution when disclosing any information in our chatrooms.

You may choose to restrict the collection or utilization of your personal information for direct marketing purposes as follows. Whenever you are asked to fill in a form on our websites, look for the box that you can click to indicate that you do not want the information to be used for direct marketing purposes. Controlling your personal information

Disclosing information over the internet is generally not completely secure and we cannot guarantee the security of your data while it is in transit. Therefore, sending any personal information, including sending of your personal information to third party websites that we utilize in providing our products and services, is at your own risk.

You must not misuse our websites by knowingly introducing viruses, trojans, worms, logic bombs or other materials that are malicious or technologically harmful. You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to our websites, the server on which our websites are stored or any server, computer or database connected to our websites. You must not attack our websites via a denial-of-service attack or a distributed denial-of-service attack. By breaching this provision, you would commit a criminal offence under the Computer Misuse Act 1990. We reserve the right to report any such breach to the relevant law enforcement authorities and we will co-operate with those authorities by disclosing your identity to them.

These processes are designed to secure your personal information from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration and disclosure. Your personal information is handled and utilized in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.

Governing law
